ABOUT ME
Nasco, fotograficamente parlando, nel 1970. Anagraficamente, molto prima. Sempre attratto dalle forme, che possono diventare sostanza, ma anche restar tali senza nulla togliere alla loro essenza, ho sperimentato, ho fotografato e ho bestemmiato tutta la rabbia quando non ho avuto, in cambio, quello che mi aspettavo.
Le fotografie sono schegge di realtà congelate nell'attimo stesso nel quale non sono più. Saperle catturare, riuscire a catturarle in tutta loro verità è una benedizione che tocca pochi e che molti, come me, si ostinano a cercare.
I was born, photographically speaking, in 1970.
By birth, much earlier.
Always attracted by forms, which can become substance, but also remain such without taking anything away from their essence, I experimented, I photographed and I cursed all the anger when I did not get what I expected in return. Photographic images are splinters of reality frozen in the very moment in which they are no longer. Knowing how to capture them, being able to capture them in all their truth is a blessing that touches few, but that many, like me, insist on seeking.
